SHATENITA HORTON – Vice President & Banking Center Manager, Providence Bank
Shatenita L. Horton is Vice President and Banking Center Manager for Providence Bank. She is responsible for overall management and supervision of all employees and continued development of the Columbia Market.
Shatenita has over 16 years of business development and banking experience. She graduated with a BS in Business Administration with dual majors in Finance and Management from Columbia College in 2002. Shatenita received her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Stephens College in 2006.
Shatenita strives to lead by example in both her professional life and her volunteer activities. She believes strongly in mentoring, as well as giving back to her community. Shatenita is involved with several local organizations such as the Columbia Chamber of Commerce, is involved in the Columbia Chamber of Commerce Total Resource Campaign and is a Chamber Ambassador. She is also a member of Women’s Network and the Columbia Metro Rotary Club. She currently serves on the Voluntary Action Center Board of Directors, Stephens College Alumnae Association Board and the MBA Young Bankers Division Board of Directors.
Shatenita is married to Erskine who owns Unlimited Handiworks, a remodeling and improvements company and they have 2 children, Jaerien (15) and Emree (3).

ANNE CHURCHILL – Owner & Event Planner of AnnaBelle Events and Rentals
Anne Churchill is the Owner & Event Planner of AnnaBelle Events & Rentals. Her team provides turn-key event coordination and design for corporate events, social occasions and weddings throughout Mid-Missouri. With eight years of event planning experience and Bachelors Degree from Columbia College in Marketing & Sports Management, Anne started her growing business in 2010.
Anne’s work continues to be recognized by local and national awards. Most recently AnnaBelle Events & Rentals received the 2013 Bride’s Choice Award placing the company among the top 5% of wedding professionals nationally. In 2012 AnnaBelle Events & Rentals was named the Best Event Designer in Missouri in the Wedding Industry Experts annual awards.
As a young business leader in Columbia, Anne is passionate about giving back to the community that raised her by staying involved in a number of organizations. She sits on the Community Foundation of Central Missouri Board and the Mizzou Athletics Career Advisory Council. She is an active member of the Columbia Chamber of Commerce and Voices – a local organization for Female Business Leaders.
In her free time Anne enjoys spending time with her friends and family. Anne and her fiancé Wes reside just outside of Columbia in their new home together.
