About Little Black Dress

The first Little Black Dress event was held in April of 2010 at Joe Machens Nissan. Each year, the event benefits True North of Columbia. The first year was an amazing success and it continues to grow each year. The ladies-only night includes heavy appetizers, drinks, a fashion show, door prizes, a raffle, and dancing.

About True North of Columbia

True North of Columbia is the emergency shelter providing immediate safety and services for victims of domestic and sexual violence. Twenty-four hours a day – seven days a week – confidentially and anonymously.

Counseling. We provide counseling for victims of domestic and sexual violence both residential and non-residential.

Outreach. We provide educational outreach in our community through programs for elementary through college age young people.

Community Awareness. We collaborate with the community through special events, awareness programs, volunteer fairs and educational programs.

Advocacy. We advocate for and provide support and resources for victims of domestic and sexual violence.
